The big daddy fan is installed in the studio. And wow, does it ever work! When it's on and the studio door is open, it sucks the smoke from the fireplace (which is 3 rooms away, facing the other direction) back down the chimney. That's some serious suck. It passes the incense test with flying colors. It's very weird to be holding a smouldering stick of incense in one's hand and not be able to smell it. It is relatively quiet, too.
