Published!

I just got my contributor's copy of the Nov/Dec 2008 issue of Step by Step Beads! I have 2 bracelet patterns in it.

Celtic Flags:

Greek Key:

I'm terribly excited about it. The only small bummer is that they didn't publish any of my contact information or my etsy store name. Next time I'll be sure to remind them. If there is a next time!

This is so great! I love both of your bracelet designs especially the Celtic. Perhaps someone could find your shop/blog by googling your name. That's what I do when there is no contact info. Congratulations again Melody ... you are so deserving of this recognition!

That's wonderful, Melody :D Congratulations. (You know, the last two times they didn't publish my info either...perhaps their policies have changed, or they have just run out of room on our pages.)

That is so great Melody! I think CDs right, they've run out of room on the pages! But then, if that's the case, maybe they should have a contributor's page with all the info. Oh, Leslie.... :O)

Melody,

You should write (or call) them NOW and ask them to list your contact info as a "correction" in the next issue, or, better, if they have a "letters from readers" section, to print a friendly, short letter from you reminding readers which designs were yours with a tagline of your contact info.

Remind them that contact info allows the building and strengthening of their own community of subscribers and sustains everyone's interest in the magazine.

I am thrilled that you like my book. I did beading years ago, and still do some basketry, another contemplative art.

Your work is extraordinary. May your art and your heart fly.
