Right-angle weave is a little confusing when one adds the second row. But it's fun! I like it better than the spiral stitch, probably because the spiral didn't seem suited to sculptural work to me, and RAW is right up my alley- I can see it covering a vessel. Back at it...

I have yet to master this stitch! I've tried it...I love how beadweaving always has something new to try!!
I bought the recent magazine on this stitch but haven't sat down to learn it yet. It looks more time consuming than peyote to me.
Oh, I can't wait to see what you do with it either. I love RAW also.
i use right angle weave for my bangles and it was a bear to get the hang of, mostly because i build 4 layers of it on each bracelet. but i think it was really worth it. everyone does peyote, very few do raw - i like to think it's a mark of distinction :-)
raw has a nice drape and is great for covering vessels, i think you'll like working with it. but marlaine is right, it is a lot more time consuming. i hadn't done any peyote in a while, after doing about 50 raw bangles, and when i did, i was stunned at how quickly peyote can be knocked out! of course, doing a 4 layer bracelet doesn't help matters much either!! :-)
have at it, melody, you'll love it!
